What is the Best Time to do the Do Dham Yatra
The best time to go on Do Dham Yatra to see Kedarnath and Badrinath is from April to June. It’s like spring there, not too hot, not too cold, so walking around is easier. This is also after the temples open for the season. Don’t go during the rainy season (July-September) when there could be landslides, and avoid winter (October-March) because the temples close again.

How to reach Dehradun For the Do Dham Yatra
By Air
Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the airport in Dehradun where you need to land to begin the 2 dham journey. You can find direct flights here from Delhi and Mumbai. Transportation to any part of the city is readily available through autos and taxis. Our yatra begins at the airport, from where you have a pickup arranged.
By Train
You can reach Dehradun by train as well. It is well connected from all parts of the country by trains, long-distance and short-distance. It is easy to travel to any part of Dehradun once you land. If you want to arrive a day early, you can stay at a hotel and head to the airport the next day for the pick-up.
By Car

2 Dham Yatra Tour Plan Itinerary By Yatra Key
Day 1 : (Dehradun Airport – Barkot) (150 km/6 Hrs)
We pick you up and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. You can visit Kempty fall enroute. After visiting the tourist attraction, you can check in at the hotel. We provide dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
Barkot is a peaceful town in Uttarakhand, where even silence is accepted. In this hidden hill town, which is 1,220 metres above sea level, you’ll undoubtedly be greeted by red-cheeked children who smile warmly. From Barkot, it is easy to see the spectacular Banderpoonch peak and other enormous Himalayan peaks. Barkot offers a variety of trekking activities, making it a great vacation and adventure destination.
Day 2 : (Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (90kms/ 4hr)
After breakfast, you will drive to Jankichatti to start the trek of 6 km on foot for Yamunotri. On arrival at Yamunotri, take the Holi Dip in Garam kund, then perform pooja Darshan of Shri Yamunotri ji. In the afternoon, start the trek back to Jankichatti. Upon arrival at Janki Chatti, we will meet and drive you back to Barkot Hotel. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Barkot.
The westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas is located near Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, and is positioned atop Bandar Poonch Parvat. The Yamuna shrine and the holy hot springs of Janki Chatti, located 7 kilometres distant, are Yamunotri’s main draws.
Day 3 : (TBD) Barkot – Uttarkashi (83 km/3 hr)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi via Dharasu Band. On reaching, check in to the hotel. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Uttarkashi.
The term Uttarkashi, which means “Kashi of the North,” is also known by the aliases “Somya Kashi” and “Shivnagri.” Akin to Kasi, the holy Vishwanath temple is located in Uttarkashi. This sacred site includes a copper trident with a one-meter circumference.
Day 4 : (TBD) Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200kms/07 hrs) both way
After breakfast, drive to Shree Gangotri Ji temple and, on arrival, take a Holy Dip in the sacred river Ganges. It is called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then, perform pooja darshan and relax in the pleasing surroundings. In the afternoon, meet the driver & drive to the Uttarkashi Hotel. We will arrange dinner, and you will stay overnight at Uttarkashi.
One of the four 4 Dhams, Gangotri is a small village whose main attraction is the Gangotri temple. It is the largest and most significant temple dedicated to the River Ganga, who is revered as a Goddess in India.
Day 5 : (TBD) Uttarkashi – Phata(235 km / 7 hr 30 min)
Early breakfast drive to Phata. On the way, visit Vishwanath and Ardhnarishwar temple, then continue the drive to Phata. Check-in to the Hotel and stay overnight in Phata.
Day 6 : Sersi – Kedarnath- Badrinath – Sersi (By Helicopter)
After breakfast you have the whole day at leisure. Have lunch. You can explore the local area on your own. In the evening, get back to the resort, have dinner & stay overnight at Sersi.

- Passengers report at Sersi by 0600 Hrs.
- If a flight is getting delayed due to NOTAM/clearances/bad weather, etc., we shall convey this to the passengers in advance so they may report according to the delayed timings.
- Passengers will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham for darshan in a shuttle service flight by 0630 Hrs.
- After being ferried to Kedarnath ji, passengers will be allowed a maximum of 02 hours for the darshan. Once the darshan is done, we bring down the passengers to Sersi.
- We depart from Sersi after breakfast, by 0930 Hrs.

- Our staff will take the passengers to Darshan by car upon arrival at the Badrinath helipad. The temple is around 15 minutes away.
- Approximately 01-1.5 hrs will be allowed to passengers for darshan. And no delays will be permitted, as our flights operate according to a schedule.
- After darshan, passengers will be returned to Badrinath helipad for their flight to Sersi by 1130 Hrs.
- Arrival at Sersi will be by 1200 Hrs.
- Our team will be present to receive the passengers upon arrival. Here, we will conclude the Dodham tour.
Day 7 : Sersi to Dehradun airport (220 km/ 6 hr 40 min)
After breakfast, we drop you at Dehradun airport via Srinagar Garhwal, Rudraprayag. En–route, visit the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers, which is Called Devprayag. After visiting this, get dropped at Dehradun airport with happy memories to last a lifetime.
