What is the Best Time to do the Do Dham Yatra

The best time to visit Do Dham Yatra to see Kedarnath and Badrinath is from April to June. It’s like spring there, not too hot, not too cold, so walking around is easier. This is also after the temples open for the season. Don’t prefer to go during the rainy season (July-Mid September) when there could be the chances of landslides. Then after mid sept the weather to October till temple closed, become pleasant and comfortable visit Do Dham. The advantage of visiting the post monsoon is less crowd as compared to May-Jun.

How to reach Dehradun For the Do Dham Yatra

Nearest Airport

Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the airport in Dehradun where you need to land to begin the 2 dham journey. You can find direct flights here from Delhi and Mumbai. Transportation to any part of the city is readily available through autos and taxis. Our yatra begins at the airport, from where you have a pickup arranged.
If you want to travel on the same day, make sure the arrival time should be before 12:00 noon.

Nearest Railway Station

You can reach Haridwar or Dehradun by train as well. It is well connected from all parts of the country by trains, long-distance and short-distance. It is easy to travel to any part of Dehradun once you land. If you want to arrive a day early, you can stay at a hotel and head to the airport the next day for the pick-up. If you want to travel on the same day, make sure the arrival time should be before 12:00 noon.

By Car

2 Dham Yatra Tour Plan Itinerary By Yatra Key

Pick up from Haridwar railway station or Dehradun Airport then drive to Phata. You can visit the Vishwanath and Ardhanarishwar Temples on the way.

In the evening, check-in hotel, have dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, get ready to visit Kedarnath Temple either by trek or helicopter (self).

For Kedarnath trek reach the Gaurikund. Our driver will drop you near to Sonprayag from where you will take local shuttle cab (by self) to Gaurikund and start trek to Kedarnath temple. In case you have booked (by self) the helicopter, we will drop you to Helipad. Once you reach Kedarnath, check in Ashram or Camps and take some rest. After that visit, you can visit temple and do the darshan.

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi via Dharasu Band. On reaching, check in to the hotel. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Uttarkashi. 

The term Uttarkashi, which means “Kashi of the North,” is also known by the aliases “Somya Kashi” and “Shivnagri.” Akin to Kasi, the holy Vishwanath temple is located in Uttarkashi. This sacred site includes a copper trident with a one-meter circumference.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and start the journey to Badrinath Dham. On the way to Badrinath visits sacred sites like the Adi Shankaracharya Math and the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Once you reach, you can visit the BADRINATH Temple, do puja and darshan. Then you can check into the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

After having breakfast, drive to Gaucher.

Check in to hotel. After that, you will have dinner, and then relax for the night.

After breakfast and drive to Haridwar. On the way you can visit the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, which is known as Devprayag.
